Concert Uniform Information
It is important to have your student get out their uniform and try it on several weeks before the concert. They may have grown since they last tried it on, and you would be in for an unpleasant surprise the night of the concert. If you need a uniform piece, you must stop by the information desk to see if we have it or if it needs to be ordered. You may also email [email protected].
1. Skirts/Pants
Most of our students wear black skirts or pants. WMHFA can provide them at no cost to you if you do not have any. If you provide your own, they must be pure black and be similar in style to those we provide. Girls must wear ankle length skirts which are not too tight. Slits are not allowed. If you are unsure what the skirts or pants should look like, please stop by the uniform table to see a sample.
2. Shirts vary according to class. If your student is in more than one group, wear the shirt of the most advanced group.
Tuxedo shirt sizing can be found here. Your student should wear a plain white t-shirt underneath all tuxedo shirts.
Remember, the goal is to achieve uniformity as the group performs and not to have one student stand out. Please talk to your teacher if you have any questions.
