West Michigan Homeschool Fine Arts Association (WMHFA) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to assist and support families in the musical education of their home educated children.
Registration is open for fall! Head to our Enrollment Information page to get started!
There are a number of things happening at WMHFA this summer!
Instrument Fittings
We are holding three instrument fittings this summer: June 13, July 15, and August 1. If you have a student who will be at least 9 years old by September 1 and wants to join beginning band or orchestra, you will want to plan to attend one of these. It is a great opportunity to try all the different instruments to see which would be a good fit for your student. See more information and sign up here!
Auditions
The purpose of our auditions is to determine the best fit for the student. Most of our classes do not have a limit on numbers, so our auditions do not determine whether you can be part of the program or not. We have a place for you!
Our upper-level groups require auditions. Students who were not enrolled in a WMHFA band or orchestra last year but want to be in a non-beginning band or orchestra this year must also audition. See wmhfa.org/audition-information for more information.
Northern Lights Marching Band
Come see us at one of these parades!
We hope to see many of you this fall!
