Who We Are
West Michigan Homeschool Fine Arts Association (WMHFA) is a non-profit organization operating in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, whose purpose is to assist and support families in the musical education of their homeschooled children. The programs offered by WMHFA are not designed to meet all the musical educational needs of a child; rather they are intended to supplement the musical training received in home schooling. Details are found in our Catalog.

Beginners Welcome!WMHFA accept students who are brand new to music. We teach students how to read music and how to play an instrument. After 13 weeks they will perform at a concert and you will be totally amazed at what they have learned in such a short amount of time. To participate in Beginning Band or Beginning Orchestra students must be at least 9 years old and attend a Music Guidance Survey/Instrument Fitting.
